Our internships were created to help students gain real-world experience and develop their career. We want our internship to line up with students’ career aspirations.
Students will receive access to an online course created by We Care Insurance. They are expected to complete the course in the internship. This is also referenced as a handbook throughout the internship and will teach skills related to their position.
All of our internships have a touch of entrepreneurship in them, from creating something new to learning from customers. Interns will need to adapt throughout the semester to improve themselves. Many times students will be researching online to gain more understanding of concepts that better assist them as they work.
Internships are 3 months at a time, including fall (September-December), winter (January-April), and spring (April-July). All internships will begin by studying the company, linking their education to their job at We Care.
